Laurens County residents and students of Veritas Preparatory School are invited to request information on our "Lift off Literacy" for locals program. Each semester Teaching Joyful Readers dedicates a few select spots at a discounted rate to give back to our community.

We start with an initial assessment and a conversation with you. Based on your child’s reading experience, goals, and learning style, we recommend the package that offers the right balance of structure and support.
We usually recommend starting with a smaller plan to make sure our lessons are a good fit, then purchasing a larger package after a few successful sessions.

Our online lessons use multi-sensory tools, screen-shared games, and live reading practice to maintain connection and participation — it feels personal and interactive, even through the screen.

Absolutely. The Orton-Gillingham approach uses short, varied activities that keep children interacting, and engaged — making it ideal for kids who need more active learning.

Each package consists of a specific number of lessons that can be used each week.
The Bloom package is ideal for those just getting started with tutoring. This package is a great sampler and helps make sure Teaching Joyful Readers is an appropriate for your child, before making a larger investment in tutoring.
The Flourish package is our most popular package. This package not only offers a discount, it also allows our students to consistently receive lessons at the recommended 2x/week on a month-to-month basis.
The Thrive package is often purchased by our veteran students. Once you know Teaching Joyful Readers is a good fit for your child, this package allows for a nice savings in your investment, while also purchasing lessons and reserving your child’s tutoring time slot in bulk.
